Artist Statement
Through my art I choose to depict themes of mythology, nature, and darkness within the human experience. Transcending the facticity’s of the modern world and creating new realities in order to push boundaries of beauty, motivates my creative process.
The figures and forms that emerge in my work often exist in liminal spaces — half-remembered, half-imagined — as if summoned from dreams or nightmares. I use these visual languages to confront what is hidden: the subconscious drives that shape identity, the internal mythologies we build to make sense of chaos, and the uncanny moments when the rational self unravels.
Ultimately, my practice seeks to unearth beauty in darkness, and to challenge the viewer to linger in the discomfort of ambiguity — where myth and mind intertwine, and transformation is always possible.
